Spam and Junk E-mails Annoys YOU? - Solution!

You cannot stop spam 100% but you can control it or in other words you can decrease it enough to not annoy you. Every email providers have different system, so i will show you how you can decrease junk mails in Yahoo, G-mail and Hotmail.

Yahoo:


  • Sign In
  • Open the "Options" menu which is located at the top-left corner of the page
  • Click on the "Mail Options"
  • Under General, Scroll down to the "Spam Protection" area, Check the "Automatically move spam to spam folder"
  • In "Advance Options" at the left column you will see "Blocked Addresses", you can block unwanted emails addresses from there.
  • You can filters spam emails by word's, phrases by Filters, which is located in "Advanced Options"


G-mail:


  • Sign In
  • Click on the Steel wheel, which is located at the top-right of the page then select "Settings".
  • Goto Labs tab.
  • Scroll Down for SmartLabels and "Enable" it.
  • Scroll Down and Save Changes.
Now Emails go into different labels like notifications, bulk, Forums and it will be easy for you to manage them.

Applying Filters:
  • Click on the Steel wheel, which is located at the top-right of the page then select "Settings".
  • Goto Filters tab.
  • Click Create a new filter, you can put restrictions to specific Words, Subjects, e-mail address etc after that click on Create filter with this search.
  •  Now Check the desired actions for the word's or emails addresses you specified, and click on Create Filter.
  • You are Done... :)
Hotmail:
  • Sign In
  • Goto Inbox
  • Select Options | More options, located at the top right side of the page.
  • Under Preventing Junk Email, you have two options that will control spam emails.
  1. Filters and Reporting
  • Click Filters and Reporting
  • Set the filter level to "Standard" and others settings to your desires.
  • Save it.
2.  Safe and blocked senders
You can block undesired email addresses from here and you can also classify safe email addresses so that hotmail will not delete/spam the emails from your friends and family.
